Sometimes it is possible that in a hurry to access the contents of a site you provide your email address and later regret for it since you end up recieving endless sets of emails from that website. And that too the emails land up directly in your inbox instead of the spam folder. However the solution to this is simple, create a 'Filter'. Gmail provides you an option to filter emails from certain specified addresses by creating a filter. You can find the 'create a filter' option on the top of the page next to the search bar. Or you can also go to settings -> filters. Gmail also allows you to choose on what basis you want to create the filter and what needs to be done with the filtered email.
Note that this option can also be used to filter the emails sent by Tagged.com which is proving to be one of the major source of spam in our inbox. Also these emails continue to flood your inbox even if you unsubscribe from the network, since the message is sent using the email address of the person who invites you. Here are some of the filters that you can use :
- From : Tagged [tagged@taggedmail.com]
- Subject : Tagged.com
- Has the words : has Tagged you! :)
